Advantages

These programs are tiny, about 50K each, so they can all fit on a single floppy disk or a corner of a flash drive. Thus they can be brought to any computer enabled classroom for in-class demonstrations. They are a single file and do not need to be installed. They are fast to launch (unlike Java) and do not need an Internet connection. Just download the zip file, and unzip the programs to whatever location you desire. Double click to run the program.
